Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, I moved to Colorado in 1995 with my family. I attended Colorado State University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. I found my way into the mortgage industry and have been originating loans for over 15 years.
Having closed close to half a billion dollars in residential loans, I have a knowledge base that spans just about every loan program available. The thing that separates me from other loan officers is that I pride myself on leveraging my experience to do a thorough analysis on the front end that leaves very little work for my borrowers later in the loan process. This tends to lead to a smoother and faster loan process.
As a professional and someone who cares about the mortgage consumer and the trajectory of mortgage industry regulation, I participate in advocacy initiatives at the local and national level. I was president of the Colorado Association of Mortgage Professionals (CoAMP) in 2015 and 2016, and I currently sit on the board as a past president. I’m also a member of the National Association of Mortgage Professionals (NAMB).
I spend my spare time with my wife Caroline and our two sons Aiden and Harrison. When I’m not at home with them you can usually find me rowing on one of Colorado’s many great trout streams while tossing around one of my homemade flies.
It is my goal to create a transaction that is smooth and stress free, leaving my clients thinking of me for their future mortgage needs.
